About

Greg

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • 20 years' NHS nursing experience
  • Older adult and acute mental health inpatient experience
  • Extensive community mental health experience (older adults), including 8 years leading these teams
  • Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) qualification
  • Leadership training through the Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS Level 1)

Nursing is relentless — long shifts, emotional weight, and constant decision-making take a toll, wherever you work. I offer relaxed, compassionate, empathetic, and caring support — sensitive to what you're going through — through structured clinical supervision and leadership coaching, giving nurses dedicated space to reflect, process, and grow.

I'm still actively working on the floor myself, so this isn't supervision from a distant memory of practice — it's grounded in what the job actually looks like right now.

Experience → Reflect → Reframe → Act

My own clinical background is in mental health nursing, so I bring particular depth around emotional load, distress, and complex presentations — alongside broad clinical leadership and governance experience that applies across nursing as a whole, whichever sector you're in.

Speaking Up

Whistleblowing & Raising Concerns

Supervision and coaching sessions are confidential, but they're not a substitute for formal whistleblowing or safeguarding procedures. If something you raise points to a risk to patient safety, professional misconduct, or a concern that needs to go further, I'll support you to use the right formal channel rather than handle it informally — this may mean your employer's Freedom to Speak Up Guardian, your NMC professional duty of candour, or an external route.

As with any professional relationship, confidentiality has limits where there's a risk of harm to others. If you're currently facing a whistleblowing situation and need independent, confidential advice, Protect (the UK's whistleblowing charity) offers a free, confidential advice line separate from your employer or professional body.

Staying Safe

A note on scams & impersonation

All booking and payment for my services happens through one official link — the Acuity booking page linked throughout this site. I will never ask you to pay by bank transfer, gift card, cryptocurrency, or any method outside that official checkout.

If you're contacted by someone claiming to be me — via social media, a different WhatsApp number, email, or any channel other than the ones listed in the footer of this site — please treat it with caution and verify directly through this website before responding or sending any payment. FAQ

Questions

What's the introductory session?

A 30-minute, low-commitment introductory session (£34) to try clinical supervision or coaching before booking a full session. No pressure to continue afterwards.

Who is this for?

Leadership Coaching is open to all qualified nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD, RNC, etc.) — across the NHS, care homes, private sector, or third sector organisations — stepping into, or working towards, a leadership role. Clinical Supervision is primarily aimed at mental health nurses, given the emotional/complex-case focus and my own MH nursing background — but if your role regularly involves distressing, complex, or emotionally demanding presentations, whatever field you're in, get in touch and we can talk about whether it's a good fit. Employers commissioning either for their staff are welcome too.

How do sessions work?

All sessions are 1:1 via Zoom, booked through the calendar link. No group sessions.

How quickly will you respond if I message first?

I'll reply when I can, usually within 1 day.

Are you insured and registered?

Yes — I'm NMC registered (PIN 03i0156S, verifiable on the public register) and professional indemnity covered.
